Happy Candlemas! Did you know? In France, Candlemas is called “Chandeleur”, and it is traditional for us to eat crêpes on this day. And with this low GI recipe, 1 crepe = less than 10 g of carbs!
Ingredients For 15 Crepes
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup Maïzena
- 1/2 cup lupin flour
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1/3 cup water
- 2 eggs
- A tiny pinch of salt
Steps
- Put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix until there are no more lumps.
- You can leave the dough to rest in the fridge (traditional way of doing crêpes), or use it right away.
- Pour the dough into a very hot and well greased frying pan, let it cook for a few moments, then turn over to cook the other side.
- Grease the pan about every 3 pancakes.
Bon appétit !
